About Me

Hi! I'm Sheila Christensen, author of two books published by C&T, shop owner, quilt designer, ruler designer for Creative Grids and teacher.

I am crazy about quilting and love problem solving. I have developed an easy grid-based way to work with equilateral triangles and other sixty degree shapes using Creative Grids rulers, but I love trying out new things and teaching a wide range of patchwork and quilting techniques to my students.

I was born and brought up in England and I'm married to Carl, a Las Vegas native. Between us we have 6 children and 13 grandchildren. I love the beautiful mountains and bush we have here in New Zealand, as well as visiting family in the US and England. Carl is an avid golfer, which leaves me lots of guilt-free time to spend in my sewing room!
